I'm usually leery about blackmail plots, especially how they play out in romance books and manga. This one took a strange turn for me at the pool scene and after. I feel that was a big jump to do in the first chapter, especially since the protag is suspicious of him. I feel that a slower developement between the two would have helped.

I love this story! It may be a bit short, but that's what gives it the feeling of suspense. You want more, but you know there's a good chance it's not coming. That's a good thing!
