Beautiful surrealist art style...a much needed breath of fresh air... The story , mostly Otsbell herself was difficult to understand. It's easy to understand that we can't treat animals this way. I would love to see more works in this art style.

To be honest, this isn't the type of manga that I usually read. I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to get from the story...

It's not a bad story, but I didn't really care for it. I was thinking of stopping early on, but I decided to keep reading. The thing that bothered me the most was the inconsistency in the art for Miss Otsbell herself. She's supposed to be this mean and angry woman. She never actually looked angry abd she is the only truly visually expressive character. With this medium both art and story are very important.

The art is beautiful but the ending has left me feeling a bit unresolved & bittersweet.

Short manga filled with allegory -- capitalism and consumerism vs. communism. It's interesting that the author chose a perspective viewing both aspects at their extreme. And, then there's poor Tony. Despite his constant state of malcontent, he struggles to find his own voice. An interesting read that I think is meant more rhetorical than didactic.

Love the artwork! The ending was kind of sad, but it kind of fit too. As much as I would have liked this to end differently, the ending given is probably the most appropriate.

A very odd story, but oddly enjoyable. The surrealism adds a comedic tone to a story that you wouldn't expect to have any (one could only hope, based on the title).

To be honest, I don't really understand the point of the story. My best guess would be that it's an allegory of relationships between workers and their bosses, how some people view their workplace and how it affects them personally.

But I could be completely off base!

The artwork is great. The panels are easy to read. I don't know what to feel at the end of the story though. I don't wan't to spoil it for other readers.

It was an interesting story. I re-read some parts of the story because it was a bit confusing at times, but that didn't take away my enjoyment of the story. The art was crisp, clean and nice to look at.
