People might have an issue with this manga being rated 16+ because of the gore. However, the story and characters are superb and this manga is well deserving of a 5 star rating. I can't wait till the next chapter is made available all the twists and turns make this an enjoyable and interesting read. I'm not a Horror/Gore fan but these chapters have all been such a joy to read that ended up reading all available chapters and left me wanting more!

What in the serious f*** is this. 16+ age rating with this amount of fucking gore?

My issue isn't the gore itself but the rating and being so easily accessible .

Hell even Naver's webtoon will ask you if you're above 18.

For this reason, even though the story is kinda interesting, I'm giving it a 2. This story should be 18+, not 16. Very disappointed in whoever comes up with the rating. The gore is strong. made me spill out my chocolate milk.

I'm not a fan of Gore, but I honestly love this manga. Zanmu is the best character and I need to know more about her. There's mystery, gore, and a look at multiple murderers. Very creative with a good art style. Highly recommended.

Wow, this one hooks you right from the first chapter. I've browsed through a couple of these free mangas now and so far none of the stories/characters have had depth. This one takes the icing on the cake. The dialogue, the twists, the characters... It's almost hard to tell who is truly the bad guy here. Can't wait for more of this!

The story seems to revolve around a rookie detective, who is being given fortunes that fit with his current cases. A plot twist here and there, as expected of a thriller, with a good amount of gore. Feels like to me his fortunes are more intentional than described, but I have read up to what I could. So far I enjoyed it. :)

The way the antagonist preys on young and naive girls in the first chapter draws my attention. I love the way he gives them a false idea of debuting in a fictional girl group but in reality, it is an even more sadistic result.

The art-style isn't my favourite but I can get around with a good narrative story.

Read the free episodes and the story and characters are really plain and simple but at the same time it is not boring if you are a type of person that read a lot of manga and like to read multiple mangas weekly. The art is really pretty but sometimes the anatomy seems a little bit off.

Well, it says it's gore, and definitely fits the that bill. I don't mind violent stories or gory moments in the manga I read, but literally, the first page is in-your-face brutality and violence without any context. I won't be reading additional chapters, but if you're into this sort of thing, this will certainly be your gig, I suppose.

It’s a decent start! The characters seem very one dimensional and the cops are incompetant at best as cops -shakes head- but the author knows how to build up tension and suspense. Also, the twist in chapter three caught me pleasantly off guard. One thing though, I don’t know what it says about me but despite how visceral the scenes are, and believe, they are, I feel like I’ve seen worse. I am looking forward to reading more.

Zanmu - Labyrinth - shows great promise when it comes to shocking the reader with it's disturbingly realistic gore scenes and intriguing storyline. However it feals lackluster since the main character seems like a really "dumb" police investigator that cannot even bring a suspect into questioning or keep an eye on him/her, add a little bit of supernatural powers and I'm sure he will be completely clueless.
With all of this being said I hope that with the manga's progress we will see the characters develop and, fingers crossed, grow smarter.

I'll start off by saying I'm very picky when it comes to these kinds of manga. I've been a fan of horror/thriller/mystery anime and manga for a while, so believe me when I say this manga is amazing!

I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just be covering the aspects of the whole manga that make it what it is.

A big determining factor for me is not the amount of gore, but how it is used. There are some anime/manga that use blood and gore as a shock factor in the place of fear. That can only take the series so far. Zanmu does contain brutal death and gore; however, it's used fairly realistically (except a few instances, but that seems excusable due to the fact that this IS something out of fantasy). While some manga have blood gushing out like a waterfall and does a close up on the river of viscera, Zanmu doesn't use that tactic. While it does show some of the gore, it's main focus is on the killer and those who react to the gore. Most people I know don't want to stare at a pool of

This is a weird one for me because on the one hand it’s nothing you haven’t seen before if you read a lot off *shock factor* horror manga. However, the art is nice and it’s got a good set up, plus if you like that type of horror (which I do) than it doesn’t need to be different it’s just fun to read. Excited for more of this.

The story captivates the reader very early on and leaves them wanting more. The story idea isn't all too original but it manages to make it a good story, I'm not much of a horror fan, but I'm left wanting to read more horror now. The only flaw was that in nearly all the scenes the characters were facing to the left, which is common for people who draw with their right hand.

Wow this manga really took me by surprise! It is so full of surprises, I never know what to expect. I really want to know more about what the heck is going on!! It starts of with a gruesome scene so I expected it to be very gory, but it is not as much as I thought and feels balanced. The comic relief with Mr. Yodobuchi is also one of my favorite parts as it is nice to have small breaks from the seriousness every now and then. The mystery is so gripping and kept me binge reading until there was no more to read. I cannot wait to read more chapters!

I´m still reading it. (Only have 1 chapter lol)
So far, it´s interesting, the art is good, very good, but in some part is a little exaggerated in the faces, I know that this genre needs to show some depravation in the characters, but in chapter 1, to me, looks pretty exaggerated.
The story seems interesting, as well, so definitively I´ll keedpreading it.
I love the characters btw, that girl doing magic tricks looks pretty cute <3, and I´m sure that has some backgroud story very dark :B. And, since I´m studying laws, the protagonist makes me remember when I saw a corpse for the first time QwQ
Maybe when I finish the manga, I´ll give 5 stars review. It´s a nice job.

Zanmu is off to a great start if you like psychological thrillers and gore, which I do. It’s kind of like the manga version of Dexter! It starts with a strong premise that gets right into the story without having to set up each character individually, which can be annoying. Can’t wait to read the next chapters!
