If you want a manga that will make you think about life and love then Byte is the manga for you. Byte is a manga that will take you places, as you relate to the feelings of the protagonist as he face life as detached as he can be but still wanting to connect with other people and feel the warmth of someone.

A lighthearted one-shot and the art also reflects the whole vibe of the story. Koto and Masato have a very cute relationship!

Interesting concept so far. Very reminiscent of a lot of old Chinese martial arts movies. The art is also detailed.

I've been trying to give stories that don't catch my eye, a chance to catch my imagination. While this one has a great story, it's really quite full of holes that I hope will be answered at a later point. The art is not that great, but I suppose it could be considered eclectic. At the rate the story is developing, I'm hoping to have some of the holes filled in and a better idea of the plot line. I spent a lot of the time being confused as I read, but by the end of the 3rd section I felt like I had a firm grasp of the characters. It will be interesting to see how this develops and whether it can earn the 2 stars needed to be a top shelf book. :)

It has great potential, read it if you like your BL with comedy

Cute, inspiring one-shot

When I first started reading this, I was instantly reminded of Studio Ghibli. It's a good manga and has a great style, too. Would definitely recommend!

Each mini story is only 8 pages long, but they are really good!

love the art , but 2/5 for the story, anyway you can still relax with this oneshot

This little story is short and sweet. The premise is quirky and fun, just as the jokes are cute and well timed.

While the plot of the series seems a little cliche, the art and fight scenes make reading Taaroa worth a shot. In the future, I hope the series comes out with some bigger tricks and turns to keep the story fresh and engaging.

Wow, after reading Country Called America, I can't help to say this shows a complete different side of him and I enjoyed this story a lot more personally.

If you like soft romance, this series is for you. It has an open end and somewhat unsatisfied for me.

If you like gore and serial murder type stuff (Monster, Tokyo Ghoul, etc.) then this may pique your interest. The story is interesting with quite the "trick" to it. Definitely worthy of a read.

Interesting series \o/

This was recommended to me by a friend I work with. I thought at first he was pulling my leg, since he knows how much I like humorous titles. WOW. This was a good 1-shot. Definitely wasn't expecting the ending.

If you enjoyed HxH or stories about youth that display strength beyond them.. or are kind of dopey, but in the right moment, they astound you with their skills.. then you definitely need to read this story. The protagonist is just the right amount of facepalm, and the story leaves you licking your lips and wishing for more. Great read!

I am absolutely excited to read every word of the next chapter. This is one of my favorite titles on this site. The way they connected the two characters was beautiful and the twist they threw in at the end of the first chapter. I'm so excited to read on. :D

The story takes a great twist of connecting the various characters. Each chapter makes you smile more and I'm always left wanting to read more. I am excited to read more and see how the main plot develops.

The story is cute and very BL. It's a-typical, but definitely leaves you wondering what will happen next. The art is good, but not always consistent. It's beyond PG-13 in nature, but that lends to the 'comedy' bits that are thrown in. This makes a wonderful, light read, if you're just looking for something to pass the time and make you giggle.

What is interesting about VIEW is that this author deals with some really deep themes. Whereas A LONG STAY deals with emotional boundaries and the fear of the unknown, A Country Called America deals with a futuristic view of America. One of the lines that really got me thinking was that, in the manga, America seems to be only concerned with "truth." Who gets to define truth, though? What is truth for one country can be completely different for another. If you're into deep themes, give this one and VIEWs other manga a read.

Story is interesting although some of the illustrations are a little scary for me... But I'm sure this is a good series and looking forward to the next chapter!
