This competitive eating gig is serious business, I take it? :D This fun, over-the-top manga has the sport down to a science. It's not listed as a comedy title, but I kept finding myself chuckling at the character reactions as I was reading. I'll certainly be reading more.

Slow start but once you read it, it is easy to get hooked. The characters could be drawn a bit better, but the food looks great. The food looks almost as good as Food Wars. I recommend reading Super Food Bowl if you want to look at food and staying for the story.

Fun, simple art style and a classic kung fu school-style story setup made it fun and easy to read. The beginning was a little slow and inexplicable. I haven't read through the entire series so far, so not sure if some of the unexplained stuff in the beginning comes back around. Besides that, I thought the lighthearted focus on eating competition clubs was a fun idea. I'd recommend it, and probably will keep reading, but it's not on the top of my list. Best if you're looking for something easy to get into and easy to read.

Other than personal preferences with artstyle, an enjoyable read with food that will make you hungry. About competitive eating, and a bit like Food Wars, but you eat it instead of make it.

This is a fun, enjoyable series about a high school eating club that wants to revitalize their performance in eating competitions. I always enjoy seeing food in manga, and reading this manga never fails to make me want to eat whatever dish is being featured in the chapter.

This is a great discovery for me. Manga about food are far from being rare and thanks to the like of Shokugeki no souma they have become quite mainstream. However Super food bowl come with a twist that the other food manga don't explore as much. Instead of being a competition about cooking food, it's about eating it! recommended for anyone who likes food or sports shounen.

Suddenly I just want to eat a whole bunch of food in record time.. oh. The manga was alright so far 3 chapters in. Mc is ok and hopefully the coach character whips all the other characters into shape to make them likeable.

Honestly the food is drawn better than the characters. It couldve used better characterization for the main guy without making him into another hotblooded dude who just drives the stort along with his ego
