When i think about eating contest, first think that come in my mind is big guy chowing down foods all over table, but man look at this manga, it is a sport, it needs training, efforts, patience and sportmanship to deal with that, i like this author works, it all the same concept of eating good foods in different setting but this one took the competitiveness up high

This is so addicting...I'm a glutton for this manga! Can't wait to read more of this and the author's other works. The artwork is great including the delicious food. Nice short chapters make me want to keep reading.

A manga about competitive eating. Not many manga have this kind of theme, so it really is unique. Mangaka draw a mouth watering food and seeing the characters chomp down on thier food really make me hungry.

I think this is the only manga that makes me prepare my food before reading it so i can enjoy will reading it . The art is great specialy the food art it just makes you hungry, it gives you lesons on how to balance your eating and shows how can you eat more.

Never thought I'd like this manga but it's actually really good. Learning about competitive eating is actually fascinating and the characters aren't bad either. Can be a bit to dramatic sometimes like a shounen but other than that I like it.

I am really enjoying Gourmet Glutton. It is a very good read and it is about a foodie named Mantaro Ohara on his journey becoming a competitive eater. This concept seems very realistic and I can picture it happening in real life. The manga stays true to Japanese culture as Mantaro eats many Japanese dishes.Seeing the amounts of food being eaten is just enough for me to grab my phone and order a pork rice bowl and chow down alongside Mantaro.The artstyle is very beautiful and at the same time feels very real too. I am going to continue my read of Gourmet Glutton and I am very excited to see what happens next to Mantaro. 5 stars!

Food has always been an interest since Shogogeki No Souma, so when I started reading this manga, the feeling of hunger overcame me. This manga is very funny and interesting and I look forward to reading more.

At first I didn't know what to read with so many choices. Then the worst came to me when I started getting hungry. Browsing through the selection I came across this manga and figured I go with this one to ease my hunger. Ended using up all nine of my tickets to read the chapters that I found it rather fun to read. Its nothing like Food wars or anything and it turns out that I learn something from reading this about what the human body can hold when stuffing yourself with so much food. The story is good so far and I cannot wait to read more when my free ticket recharges. I'll be waiting to read more from this manga, hungry for more.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoy this manga. The food is so realistically drawn that I find myself craving Ramen! The storyline is simple but appealing; I find myself quickly scrolling down, eager for the next bit. Well done!

I have been reading a lot of manga about people making foods but, this is the first one that only focus on people eating foods. The manga didn't explain much about the taste of the food or ingredients like most foods making manga. It's pretty fun to read to see various trick that these characters used to eating food.

Good potential, foods are looking great too. Though the beginning of this manga seems to lack information about the food despite the manga being about eating gourmet itself. Well, maybe on future chapters that the author will start not only depicting but also describing what they eat.

I don't understand why there's no more people reading this one?? I mean all the perfect-looking foods here is a waste to be ignored. I think Kuishinbo is The best Tsuchiyama's manga in this site. It depicts adult competition in something as "trivial" as eating in realistic way. You wouldn't feel the character is overreacting like many shonen competition manga, plus it tells you many secret method to eat a lot (haha)!
