..I love how it is minimalistic in terms of art and the way things are narrated. It isn't necessarily complex and doesn't rely on deep background to portray his depression. It was already nice and clear with how he thinks of stuff.

I don't understand why there's no more people reading this one?? I mean all the perfect-looking foods here is a waste to be ignored. I think Kuishinbo is The best Tsuchiyama's manga in this site. It depicts adult competition in something as "trivial" as eating in realistic way. You wouldn't feel the character is overreacting like many shonen competition manga, plus it tells you many secret method to eat a lot (haha)!

The plot is actually quite bland. And there's a huge plot hole. The description of this manga doesn't show the whole story. Sakuya and Akito, Yuuki's brother only have mutual feelings as friends. Sakuya actually pretends to be the little sister of his older sister who is in contact with Akito. The plot hole is that even though Sakuya lies to be the little sister, Akito who knows the older sister by Line never disclosed that relationship to her. So basically, Akito knows this fake little sister, meets up with her a lot, but never tells the older sister that he knows her "little sister".

eh, it's certainly cute, and it has an interesting concept, but the art is below average, and the characters didn't get much development (I do understand that it's difficult to develop multiple characters in one chapter alone, but I feel like they could have done better) so they felt a bit flat.

It's a pretty good romance manga, but it's also pretty normal. It doesn't do anything creative, nor is the artwork/writing/etc. particularly striking, and as someone who's read a LOT of romance manga, I can't help but feel that it's simply a normal, fun to read romance manga, not something you remember months or years after reading it. It is a fun read though!

Princess Youko is really cool. She sure is responsible and helpful. She is one of the figures that put great importance on women empowerment. Bend the rules a little if it is necessary.
