It's really interesting, the suspense is something else. The girl in the manga is so mysterious, there needs to be more story about her. But overall it is a good manga!

Gourmet Glutton

starstarstarstarstar
At first I didn't know what to read with so many choices. Then the worst came to me when I started getting hungry. Browsing through the selection I came across this manga and figured I go with this one to ease my hunger. Ended using up all nine of my tickets to read the chapters that I found it rather fun to read. Its nothing like Food wars or anything and it turns out that I learn something from reading this about what the human body can hold when stuffing yourself with so much food. The story is good so far and I cannot wait to read more when my free ticket recharges. I'll be waiting to read more from this manga, hungry for more.
In conclusion, I was still hungry and decided to head over to my local Sushi restaurant.

Daily Life in 8 Pages

starstarstarstarstar_border
It was a quick read with cute and simple illustrations. This one shot is made up of short slice of life stories that can be read under a few minutes. I recommend this manga to anyone who wants to read something quick during a lunch break or during a short car ride.

As I typed in the comments section of the second chapter, its down to earth and a little sad. The artwork is also nice and colorful

Repeating Your End Together

starstarstarstarstar
The story is off to a good start. The plot so far reminds me of Steins;Gate about how some changes in the past could affect the future or more. I can't wait for the next chapter to be released.

Dang-pretty wild story! The writing style was a bit rough at first but i'm going to chalk that up to just a "lost in translation" type thing. I would absolutely continue reading this. Can't wait to see what happens!

Diary of My Daily Failures

This is a really appreciated show on how mental health is dealt with in Japan, It also hits close to heart. The colors are great and the mood through writing sets the tone well.

not too much fun

The story is good for someone who has an depression but the character's seems to be a bit weird to me.In my own opinion it would be better if the author would change the appearance of the main character.

A Long Stay

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
Very 'mono no aware' kind of story. Simple, clean art and paneling that makes the whole experience easy to quickly read through and feel the atmosphere. There's not too much of a story and it's one of those metaphor-of-life scenarios. Doesn't really stick out from other stories that do the same thing (cover picture pretty much highlights what makes it different from the other stories), but still a nice read.

Sinner

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
This story has a very interesting premise and a lot of potential, but the way that it was conveyed was slow and a bit rocky. This story has hope and a lot it can do to grow or even surpass other stories due to it's unique concept, but it needs to avoid typical plot holes that will make it feel very common and uninteresting. Overall, if you don't mind a slower story and want to read something unique, I would recommend reading this series.

Kotonoha

starstarstarstarstar
Short and sweet with a delicate and gorgeous style!! 100% satisfying fluff; would highly recommend, especially if you want a quick fix of adult women in love. My one complaint is that it's so short, but even then it contains itself wonderfully.
Suuuper hoping more of kisugae's stuff is translated for this site!

The Little School Nurse That Could

starstarstar_borderstar_borderstar_border
This was terrible, the only redeeming quality to it is the art but that isn't nearly enough to make you forget about the terrible font that cuts off words and sometimes squishes them together, the bland, generic, stereotypical, unrealistic story line, and the horribly stale dialog. This manga is like a terrible porno without the sex scenes, I can understand wanting to make it sensual but there's no build up or realism to any of it. Example: 5 seconds through the door and the doctors already trying to sleep with the new nurse even though he States she's not his type then a student walks in saying his girlfriend thinks he's bad at sex and the doctor says he'll help him, then asks the nurse to lie down in the bed, then "something?" happens, you don't what because either the page is missing or the scene was just skipped, and then the girls fixing her clothes while the doctor comments that she almost lost her virginity leaving you to wonder what happened, how it was supposed to help with th

The Little School Nurse That Could

starstarstarstarstar_border
a very good manga but i don’t like the main character

Witch Sister

starstarstarstarstar_border
So far it is interesting to say the least. Story itself seemed to rush itself a bit after the sister was introduced and became focused almost entirely on magic afterwards. I feel the transition was a bit too sudden. The story itself compelling and on the darker side of things. The artist did a very good job of illustrating the manga and i look forward to more of this.

So far its one hell of a ride gets right into the gore, gives me a sort of Tokyo ghoul and parasyte vibes. So i am going to continue with this series.

Miles High

starstarstarstarstar_border
Very decent. It's nothing special but won't feel like a waste to read. The absurdity of the main man may get a chuckle out of you and a good squeezable butt is always appreciated.

PLAYBOY

starstarstar_borderstar_borderstar_border
I really liked the art style, but this was worded/formatted so confusing that it was hard to focus on anything or follow what was happening. A neat idea, just not so neatly executed.

The wizard who came back

starstarstarstarstar
I wasn't sure about this based on the art style, but this was super heart warming and cute! It started to feel like Harvest Moon after a while, and the art reminded me of it too.

Zanmu - Labyrinth -

starstarstarstarstar
This is so great, the story is extremely compelling, the art is breath taking. I have not stop shaking since I started this series. It's really amazes me at every turn, truly something that I've been wanting to read in years.

Chika's Forest

starstarstarstarstar
Chika's Forest is a soft read, something light and warm hearted to have in your mind before bed.
The story of "Chika's Forest" starts quite light and simple, but delve deeper and you'll begin to find a very magical truth within the forest. You'll be enchanted by the mountain goddess and her mysterious son, Grandpa Batata the sweet potato fairy and Hanazuke the flower monkey, and even just the everyday mortal world! The art style and story telling is reminiscent of Ghibli productions, and was clearly inspired by "My Neighbour Totoro" which is not at all a bad thing, as the character and fairy designs still breath fresh air onto the pages.
If you're looking for something quick and easy, whether you're a veteran manga reader or if this would be your first, I highly recommend.

Lost Youth

starstar_borderstar_borderstar_borderstar_border
Pretty terrible. I feel that it was trying to portray the fickleness of youth and adolescence but the constant change in character perspective made it difficult to feel any empathy for any of the characters including the main character. While it's been marked as complete, it leaves a bad taste as you're left confused to what actually happened. There are other stories out there that does a better job at portraying a "dark but pure love story" and the only good thing about this series would be the pretty art style.

Matching Our Answers

starstarstarstarstar
The cover first drew me in and I feel that the art style really compliment the dark tone of the manga. The series is not for the faint of heart and shows two children trying to live in their abusive, neglected household but each chapter is super interested and it's sweet how they try to support each other.

Open Sesame

starstarstarstar_borderstar_border
Although the story seems to follow the same footsteps as the average 80's sports/romance/shonen manga, The 80's aesthetic definitely adds some charm to the series, and the writing and artwork are competent enough to be enjoyable. Open Sesame definitely reminds me of series such as Golden Boy and Takehiko Inoue's Slam Dunk at face value, however this series lacks the skill or craft that both Golden Boy and Slam Dunk have, and I would definitely recommend those series over this any day. However this was enjoyable enough to merit 3 stars. If you think this might be for you feel free to give it a read.
